For a manufacturing campus that will be moving materials, components, and finished goods at scale, that proximity is not a convenience. It is a competitive advantage.
Liberty County’s largest workforce occupation is construction and extraction, followed by administrative and management roles, reflecting a community that already understands industrial work and has the hands-on skills to support it.
The county’s population is estimated at over 121,000 as of 2025, growing steadily, with a young median age and a workforce experienced in the trades and technical roles that advanced manufacturing requires. Liberty County brings an established industrial culture and the capacity to grow alongside the demands of the LAMP campus.
701 contiguous acres near a major American metro is uncommon. Most large industrial sites within the Houston area are either already developed, fragmented across multiple owners, or located in areas with significant infrastructure constraints.
The LAMP Texas site provides the room to build a complete, self-sustaining campus in phases without being constrained by existing development. That scale is what makes the full vision possible, and Liberty County is one of the few places in Texas where that kind of site exists within reach of major markets.
Texas offers one of the most favorable environments for advanced manufacturing in the country, with no state income tax, a pro-business regulatory environment, a long history of energy production and industrial development, and a state government that actively supports domestic manufacturing investment.
For a campus built around energy generation, rare earth materials, and advanced industrial systems, Texas provides the regulatory climate, infrastructure foundation, and industrial heritage that this kind of development requires.
Multiple sites were evaluated during the selection process. Liberty County was ultimately chosen because no other location combined the land availability, transportation access, workforce profile, and infrastructure capacity required for a campus of this scale.
