Locating this capability on the same campus as spin energy storage also means faster iteration between energy and manufacturing teams as new applications develop.
LAMP integrates spin energy storage into its power infrastructure, a mechanical storage technology built around a rotating mass that stores kinetic energy and releases it instantly on demand. Unlike chemical batteries, spin storage systems respond in milliseconds, tolerate extreme conditions, and maintain performance across thousands of charge cycles with minimal degradation. On a campus running energy intensive operations around the clock, this technology delivers the stability and rapid response needed to keep power flowing without interruption.
LAMP’s advanced 3D printing operations bring on site manufacturing directly into the industrial ecosystem, allowing parts, components, and prototypes to move from design to production in days rather than weeks. This capability supports rapid prototyping for LAMP’s own industries, from magnet housings to energy storage components, while also opening the door to contract manufacturing for outside partners who need speed and precision without the overhead of a traditional supply chain.
