During the pile driving phase, we made a deliberate choice: advanced hydraulic equipment that operates virtually silently, rather than the traditional diesel pile drivers known for their disruptive noise. It is a small decision in the scope of a project this size, but a telling one. Being a good neighbor isn’t something you announce once construction is finished, it’s something you choose at every phase along the way, including the loud ones.

As a community representative, you will gain firsthand experience of the LAMP project, share updates with your neighbors, and serve as a direct line between the community and our leadership so that concerns are heard and addressed.

LAMP is actively hiring for positions across skilled trades, healthcare operations, energy management, infrastructure maintenance, and administrative support, with hiring priority given to local candidates.
LAMP is developing talent pipelines for the roles the campus will require long-term, including internships, apprenticeships, and direct-hire pathways designed to keep local talent employed within their community.
LAMP maintains an open vendor registry for Liberty County businesses and gives local contractors, suppliers, and service providers priority consideration for campus operations. Businesses operating in the region that offer relevant services are encouraged to register their interest through the vendor inquiry process.
The LAMP campus is being developed with a long-term commitment to Liberty County. As the campus grows, so does its contribution to the region through employment, infrastructure investment, and economic opportunity.
Phase 1 is projected to bring approximately 300 direct operational jobs, with local hiring as the first priority. As the campus develops through subsequent phases, total employment is expected to grow significantly, with opportunities concentrated within Liberty County and the surrounding region.
LAMP plans to develop on-site training programs in advanced manufacturing, robotics, AI, and energy systems as the campus scales. The goal is to build those skills locally, ensuring Liberty County residents can advance alongside the campus. Partnerships with local schools and institutions are part of that longer-term commitment.
Road, drainage, and utility improvements tied to the LAMP campus will be funded by the project, with no intention of passing those costs to Liberty County taxpayers. As the campus develops, LAMP Texas plans to expand its investment in the broader community.
LAMP will not make commitments it cannot keep. The success of this campus is directly tied to the success of Liberty County, and every operational decision will reflect that responsibility.
Local hiring is the first priority. LAMP Texas has committed to a local-first hiring policy for all roles where qualified candidates are available in Liberty County. For specialized technical roles where no local candidate pool exists, relocation support will be provided to bring those hires into the community on a permanent basis.
Infrastructure impact assessments have been completed in coordination with county and city officials. The development plan includes direct contributions to road improvements, utility upgrades, and water system capacity. These costs will not be passed to Liberty County taxpayers.
No. LAMP is being developed as a behind-the-meter energy campus with on-site generation planned to support its primary operations.
Liberty County falls within the MISO South power market. LAMP’s long-term energy strategy is focused on operational reliability while limiting additional demand on the surrounding utility grid.
In simpler terms, LAMP is being planned so its main power needs are handled on-site, not by drawing heavily from the same grid serving nearby homes.
LAMP has its own water planning that includes on-site storage tanks, detention ponds that capture rainwater, and a phased treatment system.
All plans are filed with and subject to approval by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, or TCEQ. We are not drawing from residential water sources.
In simpler terms, LAMP is being planned with its own water infrastructure so it does not rely on household water sources.
